Legal & Terms
Plain-language legal summary for BlackBloc Networks — Scandinavia. This page is provided for informational purposes and is intentionally concise; it is not legal advice.
End User License & Service Agreement (EULA)
These terms govern your use of BlackBloc Networks' websites and hosting services (collectively, "Services"). By accessing or using our Services you agree to be bound by these terms. If you are acting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Key points:
- License. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Services for lawful purposes consistent with the Acceptable Use policy below.
- Membership. Cooperative membership and certain hosting features require a separate membership agreement; membership is governed by cooperative bylaws and may include rotating governance responsibilities.
- Fees. Paid services are billed as agreed in your order. We may suspend service for non-payment after reasonable notice.
- Termination. Either party may terminate paid services in accordance with the applicable service agreement; we reserve the right to suspend access for AUP violations.
Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
BlackBloc Networks supports privacy, cooperation, and resilient infrastructure. We do not tolerate illegal activity, fascist organizing, or actions that materially harm third parties or our network.
- Permitted activities: lawful, privacy-preserving hosting, archival, and community-focused projects.
- Prohibited activities:
- Unlawful hacking, malware distribution, or DDoS-for-hire operations.
- Victim-targeted doxxing or harassment.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any other content illegal under applicable law.
- Fascist, neo-Nazi, or extremist propaganda, recruitment, or organizing. Infrastructure will not be used to promote ideologies of racial hatred, authoritarianism, or genocide.
- We investigate credible reports of abuse and will take action (suspension, termination, or data preservation) as required by law or our policies.
Note on Swedish Law
As a cooperative registered in Sweden, we are bound by Swedish hate crime legislation (Brottsbalken, Chapter 16, Section 8). This law criminalizes agitation against a population group (hets mot folkgrupp), including racist and extremist speech. Hosting such content on our infrastructure is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension and reporting where required.
In short: fascism is incompatible with our cooperative values, and in Sweden it is also against the law.
Privacy & Data
We design Services with privacy-first principles: encryption at rest and in transit, minimal logging for operational needs, and cooperative access controls. This is a short summary — the full privacy addendum is provided to members and paid clients.
- Data collection. We collect only what is necessary for account setup, billing, abuse handling, and regulatory compliance (e.g., emergency law enforcement requests where applicable).
- Logs. Operational logs are retained briefly for debugging and incident response; longer retention requires explicit agreement.
- Encryption. Customers are responsible for managing their own encryption keys unless a managed key service is contracted.
- Jurisdictional notes. Some hosting options (e.g., offshore water farms) may be subject to different regulatory frameworks; we provide jurisdictional summaries upon request.

Takedown & Rights Requests
We respond to legitimate legal requests and rights-holder notices in accordance with applicable law. For copyright concerns or other rights claims, please provide a clear, actionable notice including:
- A description of the allegedly infringing material and its location (URL, object ID).
- Contact information for the complaining party.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights-holder.
- A signed electronic or physical signature.
Send notices to abuse@blackbloc.net. We review notices promptly and may preserve or disclose limited data where legally compelled.
Liability, Warranty & Indemnity
We operate resilient infrastructure but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. This section summarizes standard commercial disclaimers.
- No warranty. Services are provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Limitation of liability. Except where prohibited by law, our liability for damages is limited to amounts paid by you for the affected Service in the prior 12 months.
- Indemnity. You agree to indemnify BlackBloc Networks for losses resulting from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Services.
Cooperative Governance & Membership
Certain services and governance rights are reserved for cooperative members. Members are expected to act in good faith, participate in scheduled governance rounds, and follow the cooperative bylaws. Membership tiers and benefits are described in the membership agreement provided to accepted applicants.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by Swedish law to the extent permitted by mandatory rules. Parties will seek to resolve disputes by negotiation and mediation prior to litigation. For customers who are consumers, mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction remain applicable.
